CLV Group is seeking a Live-In Property Cleaner for Avalon Park, a residential community in Ottawa. This role involves supporting daily cleaning operations in shared spaces to ensure they are clean, comfortable, and welcoming for over 800 residents. The position is suitable for a dependable individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a community environment. Live-in team members benefit from updated accommodations and access to on-site amenities.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping is considered a strong asset, but is not required.
Comfortable working both independently and part of a team.
Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.
Basic English verbal communication skills.
Friendly, respectable, and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
Successful completion of a criminal record check.
Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.
Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.
Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.
