About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for Live-In Caregivers / Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-In Caregiver is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period. We have current job openings for Live-In Caregivers in ALL OF NORTHERN & SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.

Requirements

Minimum ONE FULL YEAR work experience as an HHA, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
Have completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NEW JERSEY HHA License
A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.

Must be able to attend orientation in-person at a BAYADA office and pass a skills evaluation with our Clinical Manager.

Responsibilities

Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.

Benefits

Base Pay: $1,360 - $1,450 WEEKLY (pay rate depends on level of care involved)
Bonus Opportunities – for covering emergency fill-ins, referring other HHAs to BAYADA, and more.
Transportation provided for live-ins
Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.
