About The Position

Gratitude Homecare of New Jersey is a family-owned and operated home care agency dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Our team of compassionate caregivers works every day to make life easier, safer, and more comfortable for the individuals and families we serve. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide live-in care and support to a client in their home. If you are dedicated to helping seniors and individuals maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey HHA certification preferred/required as applicable.
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a supportive member of the care team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with live-in care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to the client.
• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility as needed.
• Support the client with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other routine household needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Follow the client’s care plan and communicate important observations to the appropriate team members.
• Promote the client’s dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
