About The Position

BAYADA is seeking compassionate and committed individuals to join their Assistive Care team as a Home Health Aide (HHA). This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by helping them live their best lives at home. The position involves serving patients on a per-visit basis in both Northern and Southern New Jersey, with premium pay and a sign-on bonus offered for drivers.

Requirements

• One year of verifiable work experience with a Healthcare Agency, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
• Completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NJ HHA License
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Perform household support tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with range of motion/exercises.
• Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Remain in the client's home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by the clinical manager.
