About The Position

AmeriCare Plus is hiring Live-In Caregivers to provide one-on-one care while living in a client’s home. The schedule is two weeks on, followed by one to two scheduled weeks off, offering time to build a relationship with the client and help them remain safely in their home. The role can be part-time or full-time, depending on availability. The agency provides weekly pay for up to 40 hours per week, meals while in the client’s home, transportation to and from the client, personal protective equipment, and ongoing training. A PCA class is offered for uncertified caregivers.

Requirements

• Valid Virginia ID.
• Social Security card.
• Two professional references.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience or interest in caregiving.
• PCA certification; a PCA class is offered for uncertified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to a client in the client’s home.
• Help the client remain safely in their home.
• Live in the client’s home during the two-week work period.
