About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring live-in caregivers to provide one-on-one care in a client’s home, helping the client remain safely at home. Caregivers follow a rotating schedule of two weeks on followed by one to two weeks off, with a three-week rotating schedule. The role is available part-time or full-time, depending on availability, and offers up to 40 hours of pay per week. Meals are provided while caregivers are in the client’s home, as is transportation to and from the client.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Virginia ID.
- Must have a Social Security card.
- Must provide two professional references.
Nice To Haves
- PCA certification is not required; a PCA class is offered for uncertified caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one caregiving in a client’s home.
- Help clients remain safely in their homes.
- Live in the client’s home while on assignment.
