About The Position

Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services is currently seeking Live-In Caregivers (CNAs, NAs, HHAs, and PCAs) in the Staunton, Fishersville, Rockbridge, Highland Counties, Towns of Lexington, Goshen, Monterey, and Central Virginia areas. This role offers a rewarding job with a sense of accomplishment, joy, and gratification, allowing caregivers to develop relationships with clients rather than rushing between patients. As an Angel Care Specialist, you will provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to and from appointments (typically in the client's vehicle), assist with errands, and provide warm, friendly companionship. Separate sleeping quarters and a bathroom are arranged for live-in cases. The approximate weekly earning is $1,628 before taxes.

Requirements

• Caregiver experience
• Nurse Aide Course Completion Certificate, or CNA (certified nurse aide) certification
• Pass a state-mandated criminal background check
• Pass a reference check
• Pass a drug screen
