About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Cumberland County, PA is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers to provide dependable, non-medical support to older adults who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. The role includes hands-on assistance and companionship while helping clients maintain as much independence as possible. Caregivers follow each client’s individualized care plan, communicate observations and concerns to the office and/or family, and maintain the client’s dignity, privacy, and safety. This is a live-in position: caregivers stay in the client’s home during an assignment. Responsibilities, schedule, sleeping arrangements, time away from the home, and overnight expectations vary by client and care plan and are discussed before an assignment is accepted. Caregivers must be comfortable staying overnight and away from home for extended periods when accepting an assignment. Live-in care does not necessarily mean continuously awake and actively working 24 hours a day; schedules, rest periods, sleeping arrangements, and compensation are explained based on the assignment and applicable requirements. The position is advertised for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, with the possibility of supporting other territories, including Blair County, Philadelphia, or Northern Vermont. Compensation is described as averaging $200 per day, with potential for growth. The employer offers support from a local office team, training, and possible additional assignments depending on availability and client needs.
