About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide on-site personal care and assistance to a female client in the Cave Creek/Carefree area. This role involves collaborating with the team to ensure the client's needs are met while preserving her independence and dignity. The caregiver will have a private bedroom and live on-site, working a schedule of 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off.
Requirements
- Must be a pet lover (friendly dogs and livestock animals on the property).
- A minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience.
- Experience in showering, personal cares, dressing, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and companionship to the client in her home, including full shower assistance, standby restroom assistance, and conversation.
- Assist the client with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, transfers, and showering.
- Support the client with morning and evening routines, ensuring her comfort and dignity.
- Offer transportation assistance to the client for appointments or errands.
- Log in to a computer to view a calendar with the client's appointment schedule.
