Live In Caregiver
About The Position
Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire a skilled Live-in Caregiver to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Live-In Caregiver to become a vital part of our client’s daily life. In this role, you will live on-site and provide round-the-clock companionship and support to ensure the client is safely attended to at all times. This position is ideal for a professional caregiver who thrives in a one-on-one environment, values a stable living situation, and is fully committed to delivering focused, uninterrupted care. Live-in Caregivers earn a daily rate and qualify for time off after completing an initial milestone of continuous live-in service. We serve clients throughout Delaware County and parts of Chester and Montgomery Counties. We are in high need of skilled caregivers willing to drive to their clients wherever we serve.
Requirements
- One Year of experience as a Live-in Caregiver
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
- Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs independently
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English
- Must possess a valid Driver's License or State ID.
- Successful completion of a background check
- Current TB Test
Nice To Haves
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification
Responsibilities
- Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene (assisting the client to the bathroom or using a commode, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair) Ambulation/Transfers Eating Dressing
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom
