About The Position

As a Live-in Home Caregiver at Home Instead, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for older adults by providing compassionate and personalized care. This position is essential to our mission of being the UK’s most admired care company, and you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in clients' lives every day. Hours of work will be a "One week on, one week off" position.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and families.
• Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home care or a related field is preferred
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is beneficial for transportation needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet clients' specific needs.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities they enjoy.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and daily living activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
