About The Position

Bachoco USA is hiring a Live Haul Driver to transport chickens from broiler farms to its plants. The role involves picking up chickens at farms, delivering them to live haul, maintaining required truck logs, inspecting the truck and its supplies, and binding and unbinding cages. The driver must comply with applicable Department of Transportation and state driver training and documentation requirements. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The listed shift is 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The pay rate is $28.00 per hour. Applicants residing in Arkansas are asked to apply for this requisition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of verifiable driving experience.
• Clean driving record and PSP report.
• Tank endorsement.
• Class A CDL driver's license.
• No major driving violations.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
• Ability to calculate hours of service, complete logbook pages, and calculate and report hours worked.
• Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck to transport chickens from broiler farms to plants.

• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Bind and unbind cages.
