About The Position
The primary job of a Live Haul Driver is to take live birds from contract growers farm and from company farms to the processing plant. The driver will then take an empty trailer back to farm and repeat process until all birds scheduled are loaded. It is the responsibility of the driver to make sure the coups are secure on the trailer by using binders to secure load.
Requirements
- Valid NC CDL
- Clear understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Professionalism
- Dependability
- Organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Transport live birds from contract growers' farms and company farms to the processing plant.
- Transport empty trailers back to farms.
- Ensure coups are secure on the trailer by using binders to secure the load.
