About The Position

Tyson Foods Inc. is now accepting applications for its live bird hang positions. Come and join the biggest protein producer in the world. Willingness to work in the live processing area in any available shift. Requirements

Must be able to hang live birds on conveyer shackles at a rate of 24 birds per minute.
Must be able to work in the live processing area in any available shift.
Must have stamina for a fast-paced job that requires hanging heavy chickens.
Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
Must be able to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
Must be able to lift.
Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be accepted.
Rehires are accepted after 180 days.
Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

Hanging live birds on conveyer shackles at a rate of 24 birds per minute.
Working in a dark and very dusty environment.
Working in a live bird area department.
Tolerating motion and working on a fast-moving processing line.
Working on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level.
Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Lifting (weight depends on area).
