Live Events Manager - Video Surveillance

About The Position

As a Live Event Manager Video Surveillance, you will be responsible for technical leadership of the video surveillance deployment at live events. You will work closely with Rental National Account Managers (RNAMs), Project Managers and customers. You will run an event from deployment of the equipment to the return of equipment. The LEM will work closely with the Project Managers & RNAMs to build the Statement Of Work (SOW). Once the SOW is approved by the customer, it is the responsibility of the Live Event Manager to execute to installation plan and provide technical support for video surveillance during the event.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in the live event industry.
  • Must be able to drive a 5th wheel truck and trailer to/from events and park trailer in narrow spaces at customer venues.
  • Must have strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must have a goal-achieving and over-performing mindset dedicated to excellence.
  • Must be a team player and self-starter who takes complete ownership for their results and thrives in a fast-paced business.
  • Must be able to cultivate strong internal and external relationships by being an active listener who gives full attention to both internal and external customers.
  • Must be resourceful in developing successful solutions to complicated problems.
  • Must be able to learn new products and services.
  • Must have strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Must be able to remain professional at all times while on customer site.
  • Must be able multi-task and work under specific time constraints.
  • Must be able to travel extensively in the U.S.
  • Drug screenings and background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working music festivals, concerts or professional sporting events is preferred but not required.
  • Technical acumen in the area of video surveillance is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and tear down of temporary video surveillance systems at large live event venues.
  • Set up and troubleshoot Avigilon camera systems
  • Set up and management of video analytics and rules throughout an event.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times during events.
  • Make decisions in real time addressing technical camera and video surveillance system issues and customer needs.
  • Deescalate customer conflicts if, and when they arise.
  • Drive an event truck and trailer to and from events.
  • Help with other projects as assigned.
