About The Position

The Little Elm Youth Council is seeking seven 9th-12th graders to serve the Little Elm community for one-year terms. This council acts as a liaison between the Town Council and the community's youth on issues affecting them. Council members will learn about local government operations, host guest speakers on youth-related topics, organize community service projects each semester, and present annual reports to the City Council. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge about the community and local government, contribute to the community through volunteering, and build new friendships.

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Little Elm.
  • Must be enrolled in 9th-12th grade.
  • Must be able to meet on the 2nd Monday of each month, starting in August 2026.

Responsibilities
