About The Position

Position Summary: Provides a variety of services to support MRFTS operations, including sweeping and cleaning, litter control, transfer trailer load trimming, and other cleaning/maintenance tasks. The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list; additional tasks may be assigned; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.

Requirements

Must have good judgement and be able to work safely
Must be able to understand, follow, and implement all safety and other rules and procedures.
Must be able to work around heavy equipment and vehicles
Must have good organizational skills
Experience working in and around heavy equipment
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Will provide sweeping and clean-up of truck clean-out and other areas.
Will perform litter control on and offsite.
May perform load trimming of transfer trailers using the overhead lifeline/catwalk.
Will clean truck and axle scales.
Will keep work area clean and organized.
Will also perform other facility cleaning and maintenance.
