About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for legal professionals experienced in litigation, dispute resolution, discovery workflows, motion practice, case management, legal research, and structured litigation documentation. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured litigation workflow review, dispute analysis, discovery documentation, pleadings and motion review, case chronology development, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their litigation expertise to review realistic disputes scenarios, evaluate legal documentation requirements, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based litigation workflow tasks.

Requirements

  • JD with 3+ years of experience in litigation, dispute resolution, commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement, in-house litigation, law firm litigation, or related legal practice areas.
  • Active bar admission or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Experience in one or more areas such as commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, securities litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust, IP litigation, employment litigation, white-collar defense, or regulatory enforcement.
  • Familiarity with litigation tools and systems such as Relativity, RelativityOne, Nuix Discover, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Clio, MyCase, or similar legal research and case-management platforms.
  • Comfort reading and preparing litigation artifacts such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, deposition summaries, case chronologies, exhibit lists, expert reports, research memos, and email-thread summaries.
  • Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills.
  • Ability to translate litigation workflows into clear, structured task documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AmLaw, large law firm, Fortune 500 in-house litigation, government enforcement, complex commercial litigation, or high-volume disputes environments.
  • Familiarity with commercial, securities, consumer-class, antitrust, patent, trademark, trade-secret, employment, labor, discrimination, white-collar, SEC, DOJ, CFTC, or FTC-related matters.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, deposition summaries, expert reports, exhibit lists, privilege logs, settlement materials, or case chronologies.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery workflows, case-management systems, litigation databases, legal research platforms, or document review protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail in case-file-heavy, citation-heavy, and procedure-focused legal work.

Responsibilities

  • Review litigation scenarios involving pleadings, motions, case chronologies, deposition summaries, expert reports, exhibit lists, and case-management materials.
  • Evaluate litigation documents against source records, procedural requirements, matter timelines, issue lists, and defined review criteria.
  • Support structured review of pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, settlement, and post-judgment workflows.
  • Identify missing information, procedural gaps, inconsistent case logic, and expected litigation review outcomes.
  • Review discovery scenarios involving requests, responses, productions, privilege review, document coding, deposition materials, and exhibit preparation.
  • Evaluate discovery and evidence materials against defined instructions, case facts, privilege considerations, and documented requirements.
  • Support structured review of eDiscovery workflows using tools such as Relativity, Nuix Discover, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Clio, MyCase, or similar platforms.
  • Prepare clear written explanations for discovery and litigation decisions based on source materials and verifiable criteria.
  • Review legal research scenarios involving commercial disputes, securities matters, IP litigation, employment litigation, regulatory enforcement, or complex civil disputes.
  • Evaluate research memos, motion arguments, case citations, issue summaries, and litigation strategy materials against legal authorities and case records.
  • Support structured review of pleadings, motion drafts, settlement materials, regulatory-enforcement documentation, and dispute-resolution materials.
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work.
