Current Openings include Environment, Land Use Associate, Land Use Partner, Premises Liability Mid-Level to Senior Associate, and Construction & Design Group Associate.
Requirements
- Significant experience in civil litigation or transactional construction/land use law.
- Active Bar admission in California or New York.
- Proven ability to manage complex legal matters with autonomy.
- Adept at drafting and negotiating sophisticated legal agreements (transactional roles).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.
- Proven expertise in either land use, environmental, construction law, or premises liability defense.
- Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills or robust litigation experience.
- Ability to manage complex cases or projects autonomously.
- A track record of excellent client service and legal acumen.
- Self-sustaining book of business (for Land Use Partner role).

- Attorneys without a strong background in real estate, environmental, or civil defense.
- Individuals not admitted to the CA or NY Bar.

Responsibilities
- Supporting existing client engagements across regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters within the GLUEE Department.
- Managing high-quality matters like university campuses and affordable housing projects.
- Engaging with lead attorneys across all litigation phases for diverse premises liability cases, from retail establishments to corporate claims.
- Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing design and construction agreements, primarily representing owners and developers.
