The position is responsible for providing high-level practice technology support to the litigation group in the New York Office, with the expectation to also support other practices and offices as needed. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of electronic discovery and litigation support projects, encompassing data collection, processing/analysis, document review, production, and trial/arbitration support. This role involves direct interaction with attorneys and legal assistants, providing training, and ensuring adherence to department best practices. The specialist will also be responsible for developing project plans, cost estimates, and coordinating with external vendors. A key aspect of the role is to serve as the main point of contact for assigned matters, managing all technical aspects from ESI preservation to trial support, and counseling attorneys on best practices. The position requires managing large and complex eDiscovery matters, troubleshooting technology systems, and coordinating with IT and other departments for system upgrades and media management. Additionally, the role includes processing ESI using in-house tools, assisting with department documentation, providing technology support at depositions and trials, and mentoring junior analysts.
