Litigation Support Specialist
About The Position
MSX International is seeking automotive technical experts to assist legal counsel in warranty litigation matters concerning automotive technical issues. This role involves liaising with legal counsel to coordinate and participate in lemon law seminars and performing vehicle inspections to evaluate customer concerns, vehicles, and repair processes. The day-to-day activities include local travel to designated dealerships, reviewing technical cases, reporting findings to legal counsel, and supporting legal case compilation. The Lead Technical Litigation Support Specialist will participate in discussions and meetings as a subject matter expert, evaluate cases on technical merit, perform vehicle inspections, and report on all evaluations and technical inspections.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years automotive experience required.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
- Ability to travel locally/regionally to dealerships.
- Ability to analyze and document vehicle case updates using Microsoft Excel tools.
- Ability to communicate technical information to all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and create custom reports using provided templates.
- Ability to effectively use MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.
- ASE certified technician experience is a plus.
- Experience performing vehicle inspections to evaluate customer concerns, vehicles, and repair processes.
- Experience working on all technical aspects of a case, assisting in compiling and checking data and information.
- Experience working to specific objectives.
Nice To Haves
- BA degree or current ASE certification is preferred but previously certified individuals will be considered.
