About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Director-level professional with 12 to 15+ years of litigation support, forensic accounting, economic damages, and/or insurance claims experience to join our growing practice. This role is designed for someone ready to take on greater leadership, client service, and matter management responsibilities while continuing to work closely with experienced testifying experts and consulting professionals. The successful candidate will help lead complex financial analyses arising from commercial disputes, insurance disputes, fraud investigations, and other litigation-related engagements. This position offers the opportunity to manage meaningful portions of high-profile matters involving financial damages, lost profits, lost wages, business interruption, and forensic investigations while supporting client relationships, mentoring team members, and contributing to practice growth. Candidates with property/casualty, business interruption, subrogation, commercial claims, or other insurance claims experience are preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 12 to 15+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Litigation support, Forensic accounting, Economic damages, Insurance claims, Business valuation, Public accounting with dispute-related experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and client service skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial findings clearly to attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, team priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, review, mentor, and develop team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing client relationships, engagement scope, budgets, and project economics is preferred.
  • CPA, CFE, CVA, ABV, or other relevant professional certification.
  • Experience working directly with or supporting testifying experts, including report preparation, deposition preparation, and trial support.
  • Experience with commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, or lost wages claims.
  • Insurance industry experience, particularly: Business interruption, Property losses, Commercial claims, Subrogation, Coverage disputes, Catastrophe or loss consulting.
  • Familiarity with financial statement analysis, tax returns, and damages methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the analysis of financial records, tax returns, payroll data, accounting records, bank statements, and business documents.
  • Manage and review the quantification of: Lost profits, Lost wages and earning capacity, Business interruption losses, Partnership and shareholder disputes, Contract disputes, Fraud and forensic accounting matters.
  • Review pleadings, discovery responses, deposition testimony, expert reports, and other case documents to identify key financial issues and case strategy considerations.
  • Oversee the preparation of expert reports, rebuttal reports, damages models, and demonstrative exhibits.
  • Lead economic and financial analyses used in mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Oversee the organization, summarization, and analysis of large document productions.
  • Identify key financial and operational facts relevant to damages claims.
  • Work with attorneys and clients on document requests, interrogatories, discovery strategy, and related case needs.
  • Review and guide the preparation of chronologies, damages summaries, case dashboards, and other work product prepared by the team.
  • Develop, review, and refine complex financial models using Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Perform trend analyses, lost profits calculations, wage-loss analyses, and business valuation-related procedures.
  • Direct research related to industry, labor market, compensation, and economic data to support damages analyses.
  • Evaluate opposing expert analyses, identify methodological weaknesses, and help develop rebuttal positions.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with attorneys, clients, experts, and internal engagement teams.
  • Support expert deposition preparation, trial preparation, and broader litigation strategy needs.
  • Review and maintain clear, well-supported workpapers that can withstand expert and litigation scrutiny.
  • Communicate findings effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Mentor and develop staff, seniors, and managers by providing coaching, review notes, and technical guidance on complex engagements.
  • Contribute to practice development through client service, relationship building, proposal support, and identification of additional engagement opportunities.
