Vorys Pittsburgh Litigation practice busy practice groups seeks an experienced para professional to provide expertise and support. This person will work closely with excellent legal practitioners and contribute to large case teams, as well as small fast-paced matters.

Requirements

Understanding of legal terminology and principles
Competency with MS Office applications and litigation discovery database operations including Relativity, Everlaw and other similar programs
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication
Efficient organization methods
Ability to prioritize work while remaining deadline focused
Proven attention to detail
Minimum of 3 years' experience of law firm experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
Paralegal coursework or certificate is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with managing multiple litigation dockets.
Conduct fact research.
Assist with document collection, processing and production through internal litigation support department and outside vendors.
Assist preparation of attorneys and witnesses for deposition.
Assist with preparation for filings, hearings, trial and post-trial appeal.
