About The Position

Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking an accomplished Litigation Partner or Of Counsel to oversee a diverse caseload from start to finish and foster associate development. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of litigation experience in commercial litigation, with proven leadership and supervisory abilities. Experience in general liability or coverage is also desirable. The role requires fast-paced responsiveness and adaptability due to the workload and clientele. Portable business is considered a positive. This position offers flexibility for remote work arrangements within a nationally recognized firm known for its collaborative culture, integrity, innovation, and client service.

Requirements

7+ years’ handling commercial litigation experience, with experience in coverage or general liability a plus
Experience in supervision and management of multiple attorneys
Strong leadership skills
Appearances in both Federal and State courts
JD degree
Admitted to practice in PA and NJ
Must be available to attend meetings and court appearances in PA or NJ

Responsibilities

Oversee and participate in all aspects of written discovery, ensuring accuracy, strategic alignment, and timely completion.
Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses in complex litigation matters.
Conduct motion practice and present oral arguments, while maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients through consistent communication and case updates.
Manage thorough case assessments and development of legal strategies and oversight of all phases of litigation to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
