About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Legal Team as a Litigation Paralegal. This is a hybrid role based in Valley City, OH or Towson, MD. You’ll get to assist attorneys and other legal professionals in the management of the Company’s global litigation docket, disputes, and other matters. You will conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support litigation strategies. You will also assist in the timely and adequate preparation, review, organization, and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions, and trial documents. You will maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Support the drafting and editing of correspondence, memos, and reports. Coordinate and manage the scheduling of meetings, depositions, hearings, appointments, and other legal proceedings. Communicate with internal departments and external parties to gather information and facilitate legal processes. Monitor and track regulatory changes and updates relevant to the company's operations. Provide general administrative support to the Global Litigation Group. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the leadership of the Legal Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program, or in process of obtaining same
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or in a corporate legal department
  • Deep knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes
  • Extensive experience with legal research, case management, and e-discovery tools and software
  • A desire to learn new things
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, detailed oriented, and ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner
  • The ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities
