About The Position
We are seeking a Full-Time Litigation Paralegal to support our Tennessee caseload. A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury is required. This role also requires litigation experience in at least one additional state: Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, or California. A Tennessee-only background does not meet the bar for this posting. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, energetic, self-starter with great customer service skills. Fast typing skills would be ideal, as we are a fully digital firm. If you are not experienced with Personal Injury Law, please do not apply.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in Personal Injury litigation
- Litigation experience in at least one additional state: Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, or California
- Verified litigation experience in Tennessee plus additional states
- Familiarity with Tennessee Circuit and Chancery Court procedures and e-filing

Responsibilities
- Drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery
- Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
- Drafting Discovery Responses
- Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence
- Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses
- Calendaring litigation timelines
- Conducting status update calls with clients
- Client update calls
- Sending out and following up on non-party discovery requests
- Assist in trial preparation
