About The Position

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal in its Jackson office. The ideal candidate must have a general background in paralegal experience. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

General background in paralegal experience
Experience in defense litigation with exposure to legal billing is preferred.
Experience preparing pleadings, written discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, non-party requests, open records requests, and other discovery tools.
Familiarity with the Mississippi State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Managing and organizing electronic files, reviewing documents, preparing timelines/medical chronologies, researching/investigation for case management, preparation of trial exhibits and binders, as well as general trial support.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; as well as close attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills (Win10, Microsoft Office applications, etc.).
Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-structured setting.

Nice To Haves

Paralegal Certificate a plus.
B.A. degree is preferred but not required.
