About The Position
We are seeking a Full-Time Litigation Paralegal to support our Arizona/California caseload. A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury is required. Experience in Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or South Carolina is considered a plus. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, energetic, self-starter with great customer service skills. Fast typing skills would be ideal, as we are a fully digital firm. Requirements
- 8+ years experience in Personal Injury litigation
- Verified litigation experience in Arizona and California plus additional states
- Familiarity with AZTurboCourt/eFileAZ
- If supporting California matters, must meet California's statutory paralegal qualification requirements (Bus. & Prof. Code §6450)
- Fast typing skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or South Carolina
Responsibilities
- Drafting Complaints and Initial Discovery
- Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
- Drafting Discovery Responses
- Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence
- Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses
- Calendaring litigation timelines
- Conducting status update calls with clients
- Client update calls
- Sending out and following up on non-discovery requests
- Assist in trial preparation
