About The Position

Cameo Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a qualified Paralegal to support the United States Attorney's Office in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves providing comprehensive litigation and technical support for complex, data-intensive Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) matters. This includes focusing on discovery processing, case review platform administration, and advanced paralegal duties. The Paralegal will manage the full lifecycle of Electronically Stored Information (ESI), from collection to production, ensuring adherence to standard protocols for imaging and metadata extraction, while working closely with USAO Automated Litigation Support (ALS) staff.

Requirements

3–5+ years of progressive experience in litigation support or as a paralegal in a fast-paced legal environment.
Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and the end-to-end litigation lifecycle.
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and litigation support software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with attorneys, investigators, and court personnel.
Mastery of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor’s degree or Certified Paralegal (CP) credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer document review databases (e.g., Relativity and Eclipse).
Conduct legal research via LexisNexis/Westlaw.
Support ACE attorneys in the analysis of referrals, pleadings, and complex electronic records.
Draft legal documents.
Summarize reports.
Track court deadlines.
Coordinate pretrial witness activities.
Manage the full lifecycle of Electronically Stored Information (ESI)—including collection, tracking, processing, and production.
Ensure adherence to standard protocols for imaging and metadata extraction.
