Dickson Frohlich Phillips Burgess is expanding its team and is on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join us full-time. This position will be based out of our Seattle location and will support attorneys in both our Seattle and Tacoma offices. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal with a focus on real estate, construction, and business law. TEDRA experience is a plus. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, and some Excel) are critical to success in this position. Familiarity with state and local court rules and procedure is a must. The successful candidate will support 2-3 attorneys, be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of paralegal experience in litigation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, and some Excel)
  • Experience with e-filing/filing in local courts
  • Calendaring, scheduling, and docketing experience
  • Experience billing time; meeting a 5 hours per day billable hours requirement
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Familiarity with state and local court rules and procedure

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys in litigation matters.
  • Manage case files and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
