About The Position

We are partnered with an established law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Seattle-area team. This position is ideal for a paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of complex matters, working closely with attorneys and clients, and staying involved throughout the full litigation process. The Paralegal will support a small group of attorneys handling a varied civil litigation caseload. The firm offers a collaborative and professional environment where paralegals are trusted to manage their work independently while remaining closely connected to the broader legal team.

Requirements

At least 3 years of paralegal litigation experience
Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and deadlines
Experience with Washington court rules, e-filing, calendaring, and docket management
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to independently manage multiple active matters and competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management systems

Nice To Haves

Experience with complex commercial, property-related, construction, or probate matters is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

Support attorneys through all phases of civil litigation
Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and docketing
Draft, organize, and file pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
Complete electronic filings and ensure compliance with applicable court rules
Coordinate discovery, document production, subpoenas, depositions, and expert materials
Assist with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and other parties
Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files
Track and record billable time
