About The Position

Hall & Evans, LLC, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in New Mexico. We are seeking a paralegal with New Mexico litigation experience. Candidates should have excellent MS Office skills, well-developed communication abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days/office and 2 days/home) after successfully completing the training period.

Requirements

New Mexico litigation experience
Well-developed writing and research skills
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary

Nice To Haves

Civil litigation experience with a defense firm
New Mexico civil litigation experience
ABA Paralegal Certificate
Bachelor's or Associate's degree

Responsibilities

Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records
Prepare medical record summaries
Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
Experience billing time
Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to anticipate attorneys' needs, identify problems, and find solutions
Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people
Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines
High level of integrity and personal accountability
Excellent attendance and reliability
