About The Position

In this position, you’ll support our attorneys across all stages of civil litigation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is resourceful, takes initiative, and thrives on keeping complex caseloads organized and on schedule.

Requirements

• Paralegal experience in civil litigation (employment law experience strongly preferred)
• Solid working knowledge of legal drafting, court filing procedures, and discovery
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of taking initiative
• Resourceful problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with Filevine and Microsoft Office a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
• Manage case calendars, including discovery deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitations
• Organize and track discovery, including document production and review
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness binders, and trial notebooks
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and vendors
• Maintain organized, up-to-date case files
