About The Position

Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Miami, FL location who will support multiple attorneys with complex commercial litigation, commercial transactions, torts, and product liability matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with litigation support
• Ability to manage billing for assigned attorneys (time entry, pre-bills, invoicing)
• Strong experience calendaring litigation deadlines
• Working knowledge and understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures
• Filing/e-filing experience in state and federal courts, ECF, and Pacer
• Experience using attorney timekeeping software and document management systems
• Experience and proficiency using MS Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proven success as a positive team player, as well as a proactive, independent worker
• Ability to excel in a fast paced environment

• Self-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Filings, client management, billing, time entry, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, travel arrangements, and other legal assistant functions.
