Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and research skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills including a passion for finding links and correlation of potential negligence
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or any related field, a plus
  • Filevine (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Discover the negligence of drivers, companies, and other leading factors, by conducting social media and background research in the investigations of personal injury claims.
  • Conduct key database and internet searches utilizing best practices abiding by company policies and procedures.
  • Quickly and correctly identify all parties involved in personal injury cases and their contact information.
  • Perform investigative research on a number of company and business websites, federal, state and local government websites and safety regulatory websites.
  • Perform investigative research on a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Read, analyze, and distill large amounts of information from all sources and apply it to an investigation.
  • Research the Safety, Compliance, and Violation history of Trucking Companies
  • Review all media from the incident, including Body Cameras, 911 Recordings, and Witness Statements
  • Provide in-depth reports on background data and social media findings.
  • Communicate with management and attorneys regarding investigative findings.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding subjects under investigation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
