Requirements

High school diploma or GED
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Excellent organizational and research skills
Excellent critical thinking skills including a passion for finding links and correlation of potential negligence
Outstanding attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or any related field, a plus
Filevine (preferred)

Responsibilities

Discover the negligence of drivers, companies, and other leading factors, by conducting social media and background research in the investigations of personal injury claims.
Conduct key database and internet searches utilizing best practices abiding by company policies and procedures.
Quickly and correctly identify all parties involved in personal injury cases and their contact information.
Perform investigative research on a number of company and business websites, federal, state and local government websites and safety regulatory websites.
Perform investigative research on a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
Read, analyze, and distill large amounts of information from all sources and apply it to an investigation.
Research the Safety, Compliance, and Violation history of Trucking Companies
Review all media from the incident, including Body Cameras, 911 Recordings, and Witness Statements
Provide in-depth reports on background data and social media findings.
Communicate with management and attorneys regarding investigative findings.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding subjects under investigation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
