About The Position

Bush Ross is a full-service large local law firm located on Tampa’s picturesque Riverwalk. We are seeking an Attorney to join our growing Civil Trial practice group. Attorneys in our Civil Trial practice group represent clients in a wide range of tort and contract claims within the areas of premises liability, professional liability, defamation, discrimination, insurance, and transportation.

Requirements

5–7 years of civil litigation experience
Actively licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and be in good standing with The Florida Bar.
Trial experience is required.

Responsibilities

Independently manage cases from inception through final resolution.
Handle all phases of litigation, including factual investigation, legal research, discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and appearing in court for hearings and other proceedings.
