Litigation Attorney
About The Position
An established, multi-state real estate and creditors’ rights law firm is seeking a qualified Litigation Associate Attorney to support its New Jersey practice group. The Associate Attorney will handle a high-volume caseload involving creditors’ rights and real estate litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, managing discovery, and supporting motion practice and case progression from inception through resolution. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and internal teams across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Member and in good standing of the New Jersey State Bar
- 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ right practice
- Willing and able to proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software
- Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice and loss mitigation
- Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication
- Self-starter
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Additional Bar licenses are a plus
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and mentoring
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to legal challenges
