About The Position

Bush Ross is seeking an Attorney to join their growing Civil Trial practice group. Attorneys in this group represent clients in a wide range of tort and contract claims within the areas of premises liability, professional liability, defamation, discrimination, insurance, and transportation. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of civil litigation experience and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through final resolution. Candidates should have experience handling all phases of litigation, including factual investigation, legal research, discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and appearing in court for hearings and other proceedings. Trial experience is required. Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and be in good standing with The Florida Bar.

Requirements

5-7 years of civil litigation experience
Ability to independently manage cases from inception through final resolution
Experience handling all phases of litigation, including factual investigation, legal research, discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and appearing in court for hearings and other proceedings
Trial experience is required
Actively licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
In good standing with The Florida Bar

Responsibilities
