Requirements

Active license and good standing with the California State Bar (Post-Bar candidates may be considered)
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
2+ years of experience in Personal Injury or Employment litigation preferred
Strong law and motion experience
Experience handling cases through all phases of litigation
Familiarity with CasePeer or other legal case management software
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to supervise staff and provide guidance where appropriate
Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus
A team-oriented mindset and positive attitude

Responsibilities

Manage cases from litigation through resolution
Manage a significant personal injury caseload
Draft persuasive law and motion to maximize case value
Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances
Take and defend depositions
Negotiate and finalize settlements
Draft and review demands, complaints, discovery, and meet-and-confer correspondence
Communicate with clients regarding legal strategy, case progress, and treatment updates
Analyze facts and evidence to establish liability and identify insurance coverage
Collaborate with team members to move cases efficiently toward resolution
