About The Position

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to support operations within the Dallas, Texas, territory. This role involves managing a variety of litigation matters, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and providing strategic legal guidance in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in litigation and sound judgment. The pay range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000 annually, with pay determined by the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Requirements

  • Active Texas law license
  • Strong academic and professional credentials
  • Five or more years of litigation and trial experience

Responsibilities

  • Defend litigation cases involving auto liability, premises liability, and other personal lines and commercial insurance matters through all phases of the legal process, including conducting case evaluations, developing legal strategies, managing discovery, taking depositions, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.
  • Provide clear, effective, and timely communication to clients regarding legal and factual developments in their cases, offering sound legal advice, explaining complex issues, setting expectations, and informing clients of risks, opportunities, and recommended courses of action.
  • Partner closely with claims supervisors and other key stakeholders to align litigation strategy with business objectives, collaborating to evaluate claims, assess exposure, control costs, and drive optimal outcomes while focusing on efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
