About The Position

Wanta Thome offers a unique approach to litigation, providing Trial Attorneys with custom tools, streamlined processes, and a supportive team to enhance their practice. This role focuses on plaintiff-side contingency work, where attorneys lead case strategy and results. The firm utilizes in-house developers for tool creation and employs systems like HubSpot for client management, Trainual for processes, and Microsoft 365 for daily operations. Attorneys act as the main advocate within 'pods,' aiming to maximize financial recovery for workers experiencing discrimination, harassment, or retaliation. The position involves moving cases forward through key stages, with a hybrid work setup (Minneapolis, Chicago, or remote) and regular full-time hours, including some weekend work as needed. The firm supports its attorneys with EOS tools like Rocks and Scorecards for performance tracking and provides training in employment law to allow attorneys to focus on their litigation strengths.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or Illinois.
  • Ability to hand off work to paralegals and case managers, and give them clear directions, timelines, and limits.
  • Buy into set processes, like building and updating case plans and following our standard approach.
  • Be the go-to advisor for clients with steady updates.
  • Solid ethics and taking responsibility.
