About The Position

This role involves using strong litigation experience to move cases forward with confidence, strategy, and urgency. You will learn what it means to live out core values while developing a deep understanding of client stories, their fears, pain, and the impact of injuries. You will act as a guide for clients navigating a difficult landscape and fight to help them get their lives back on track. The position requires discovering and developing client stories, ensuring they are not taken advantage of by insurance companies. It demands remarkable job performance, bringing an "A" game to be an attorney clients remark positively about and refer others to. Efficient caseload management is critical, requiring proactivity, exemplary customer service, and strategic advancement of cases through litigation, including managing discovery, motions, depositions, expert deadlines, and trial preparation. The role also involves leading, managing, and holding accountable a pod of support team members, developing and implementing strategies for productive and friendly relationships, and ensuring alignment with company goals. A proactive, assertive, and fast-paced approach is sought, with a relentless drive to achieve goals.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)
• State bar certification in Texas
• 2-4 years of personal injury experience or related legal experience, with strong litigation experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
• Multitasking – the ideal candidate should excel at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. They should be adept at prioritizing and managing various responsibilities efficiently.
• Organizational skills and planning – Being organized is essential. The candidate should be a planner, able to adapt to structuring tasks, managing time, and maintaining order.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Discover & Develop Client’s Story: Work on great cases for exceptional clients. Keep them from getting taken advantage of by insurance companies.
• Remarkable Job Performance: Bring your “A” game. Be the attorney that clients remark about in a positive way and refer their family and friends.
• Efficient Caseload Management: Be proactive, not reactive, providing exemplary customer service to your clients while strategically advancing cases through litigation. Your ability to manage discovery, motions, depositions, expert deadlines, and trial preparation will be critical in driving strong outcomes.
• Lead, Manage, and Accountability of Pod: Develop and implement strategies that nurture productive and friendly relationships with the support team, ensuring alignment with our company's overarching goals and objectives.
• Maintain an elevated level of aggression on behalf of clients.
