About The Position

Hinshaw & Culbertson is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4+ years of experience to join its Consumer Financial Services & Government Litigation practice. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for attorneys seeking high responsibility in state and federal court matters, defending financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation & appeals and class consumer and federal litigation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience.
• Admitted to the IL Bar in good standing.
• Experience in federal litigation, consumer financial services, contested foreclosure, and/or consumer debt litigation preferred.
• Experience handling depositions, mediation, and attending hearings.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Defending financial institutions in single-plaintiff litigation & appeals.
