About The Position

Vicente LLP represents trailblazers, market disrupters, and corporate leaders in dynamic, heavily regulated, and rapidly evolving industries. They are seeking a sharp, driven, and ambitious Litigation Associate for their Boston office. This role emphasizes hands-on courtroom experience, including handling real courtroom work, meaningful roles in depositions, drafting high-stakes motions, and direct client counseling. The position is designed for self-starters who aim to develop elite trial skills on a fast-tracked path to partnership.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials.
  • 2 to 5 years of dedicated litigation experience, preferably within a sophisticated law firm environment or via a prestigious judicial clerkship.
  • Active bar membership in Massachusetts (or immediate eligibility to waive in).
  • Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from initial investigation and intake through discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal.
  • Draft complex pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and legal memoranda that shape the outcome of high-stakes commercial, regulatory, and administrative disputes.
  • Run efficient, strategic discovery processes, including drafting interrogatories, managing electronic discovery (e-discovery), and preparing for, taking, and defending depositions.
  • Represent clients in federal, state, and administrative courts across Massachusetts and beyond, actively participating in hearings, oral arguments, and trials.
  • Serve as a clear, authoritative, and trusted advisor to clients, translating intricate legal risks into actionable business strategies.
  • Work seamlessly alongside regulatory and transactional teams to deliver multidisciplinary, creative legal solutions for a cutting-edge client base.
