About The Position

Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, seeks an attorney to join its Defense Litigation practice group in New York. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, representing national and international insurance clients in a wide range of complex insurance defense matters, including, but not limited to, general liability, premises liability, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability matters. Requirements

Must be admitted to the New York bar in good standing.
Civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts.
Strong academic credentials.
Candidates interested in participating in business development efforts are required.

Responsibilities

Represent national and international insurance clients in a wide range of complex insurance defense matters.
Draft complicated opinions, motions, and legal memoranda.
Participate in business development efforts.
Take on significant responsibilities with a diverse and challenging caseload.
