Litigation Associate Attorney
About The Position
The Jacksonville office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Prior insurance defense and/or premises liability experience is highly desired. At KD, we are committed to your success and offer hands-on training and ongoing mentorship to help you grow and excel in this role. This position involves drafting evaluations/reports, preparing for depositions and trials, drafting/reviewing substantive pleadings and motions, responding to motions and discovery, and communicating effectively with team members and clients in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The role requires proficiency in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Requirements
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Stellar academic credentials
- Strong legal research and excellent writing skills
- Strong/persuasive oral advocacy
- Desire to excel and work your way up the ranks of the law firm
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients, with a client first mindset
- Highly organized, with clear and concise communication style
- Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
- Competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
