About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a Lithuanian Teacher for a client in Toronto, Canada. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general Lithuanian course for a beginner student. The course will consist of 30 total hours, with two-hour lessons once per week. The student's availability is generally Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with a preferred afternoon time between 12 pm and 6 pm, though this is flexible. The student's motivation is to learn basic communication for travel. The position starts as soon as possible.

Requirements

• Native Lithuanian speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of Toronto.
• Submit CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach Lithuanian to a beginner student in a one-to-one format.
• Conduct two-hour lessons once per week.
• Adapt teaching to the student's needs for travel communication.
