Really Great Reading is seeking a passionate Literacy Coach to make a lasting impact on literacy. With nearly two decades of leadership in Science of Reading, the company designs innovative products, training, and materials to transform how educators teach and students learn. This role is crucial for supporting middle school educators, a critical crossroads for students struggling with reading. The Literacy Coach will work directly with educators to strengthen instruction, build their capacity, and deliver effective reading interventions. Success means teachers improve their literacy instruction, coaching is data-driven, and struggling students make measurable progress. The role involves on-site coaching, professional learning, modeling, co-planning, and day-to-day support in Indiana partner districts. It requires a blend of in-school time and remote data analysis to identify areas of greatest need. This is a remote role with regular school visits, requiring the candidate to work from home part of the time and travel to assigned schools. The assignment is for one year, renewable based on performance and need, with a schedule of up to 25 hours per week. School hours generally fall within the instructional day, with some afternoons requiring availability for professional development. Really Great Reading is committed to diversity and inclusion, fostering a high-performing workplace that reflects the diverse communities they serve.
