About The Position

Prairie North Co-op is seeking a Full Time Liquor Clerk for their Melfort Liquor Store. This role involves providing professional customer service, managing merchandise, processing sales, and maintaining the store environment.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Must be bondable.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work with co-workers and the public.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional approach to work concerning attitude, dependability, and appearance.
• Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor merchandise.
• Process customer purchases through the cash register, including proper handling of pricing, coupons, and cheque authorization.
• Assist in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse and front end, including stocking, facing, opening, and closing the store.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
