Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Must successfully complete provincially required training/certification relating to the responsible service and/or sale of alcohol (ex. Serve it Right certificate)
Comfortable working with different types of operating equipment such as a pallet jack, walkie stacker and computers/till.
Must be capable of repetitive lifting to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Co-operative retail experience is an asset.
Strong customer service, communication and proficient time management skills are considered an asset.
Has strong problem-solving skills and is able to remain calm under pressure
Possesses strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Liquor Store Managers with providing daily supervision and direction to the liquor store teams and with the establishment of priorities for team members on a daily basis and provides follow up.
Responsible for providing information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to all customers and responding to general customer inquiries and be familiar with in store promotions, bulletins, and updates.
Promoting and ensuring all company, safety, environmental and regulatory policies and procedures are met, including responsible sale/service and safe handling/storage of alcohol.
Receiving deliveries and completing required documentation including checking and receiving packing slips when unloading orders to ensure orders are correct.
Performing basic data entry and updating of product information to accurately report inventory levels.
